Winemaker's Notes
The Yarden Syrah Bar'on displays ripe black fruit notes, along with pleasing characters of coffee, smoke, earth, dark chocolate and French oak. This full bodied wine is rich and complex and shows great vitality. The wine aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. Though pleasurable to drink upon release, the Yarden Syrah Bar'on will improve in the bottle in the coming years, and should stay in good drinking condition for more than a decade from harvest.a perfect choice for festive occasions, the wine pairs wonderfully with peppered beef roast, Moroccan spiced lamb, or wonderfully aged cheddar.
