Winemaker's Notes
Yarden Merlot Odem Vineyard was produced entirely from grapes grown in the Odem Vineyard in the northern Golan Heights at an elevation of just under 1,200 meters above sea level. Planted in 1990, this Merlot has been farmed organically since 1998. The wine combines bright red and black fruit notes with hints of fresh herbs, spice, orange rind, and earth. Aging in French oak barrels for fourteen months provides a rich backdrop to the fruit's unique personality.
