This red blend from South Africa is an artfully crafted treat. The original Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon were made sepertately and blended just prior to bottling. The Cabernet was aged in French oak for 7 months, and the Merlot was aged for 7 months in a combination of American and French oak barrels. The color of the finished product is a deep brilliant ruby red. The nose has aromas of red fruit layered with berries and a hint a vanilla oak. The Palate is full-bodied and well balanced. Enjoy with grilled meat kabobs.
