Notes about the Recanati Reserve Marselan 2013. This wine is a mix of Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache. The Recanati vineyards in northern Israel help these grapes to produce a wine with a very cool color. The Cabernet Sauvignon in middle meaning it has a totally opaque color and Grenache on rim meaning a totally Viking color. There are really pretty aromas, clean, subtle, herby and cherry, almost like if cilantro met maraschinos. The wine has a very good structure, full bodied and a balanced great finish. This wine is fruity but subtle, a most satisfactory combination.
