Winemaker's Notes
The Or Haganuz Merlot is made with 100% Merlot grapes grown in the Nitai vineyard located in the northern Galilee. The vineyard has an elevation of 770 meters and faces west, limiting the direct sun the grapes receive. Dark ruby in color, this lush wine is dry with nice acidity and rounded tanins. Juicy red fruit upfront on the palate, followed by notes of spice with integrated clove and charred wood from the 14 months of oak aging that lead to a long lingering finish. This wine received a 91 point score from The Tasting Pannel.
