The Mony Estate Vineyard is a family owned and operated boutique winery, located in the Samson Appellation in the hills overlooking the Soreq Valley near Bet Shemesh, where sun-drenched vineyards produce high quality grapes used in crafting excellent wines. The Mony Classic Merlot is produced from grapes grown on their estate vineyard, fermented in stainless steel at 78 degrees, then aged in French oak for three months. Mid-red in color with aromas of ripe forest fruit, this wine has supple, gentle tannins and is a good accompaniment to most meat and chicken dishes.
