La Demoiselle d’Haut-Peyrat 2015 from Château Peyrat-Fourthon is an elegant and vibrant left bank Bordeaux blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 49% Merlot, and 3% Petit Verdot. The wine is bursting with wonderful aromas and flavors of blackberry, currant, and subtle licorice on the nose and palate, with medium acidity and ripe, well-balanced tannins that make it the perfect partner to meat-based sauces or aged cheese.
