A great QPR Champagne, from the Cremant d'Alsace in France. Notes of citrus and crisp apple play on the nose. The palate is brisk with citrus and tart greengage fruit. The fizz is fine and creamy and acts as a counterpoint to the freshness, but the overall impression is one of sprightly, slender, lemony freshness. Ideal as a wonderful and enlivening summer apéritif.
