This Special Reserve Lake County Cabernet Sauvignon Mini Bottle is the first of its kind harvest by Herzog in Northern California's Lake County, a unique terroir with red volcanic soil, dry climate, and high elevation. The nose is filled with rich aromas of blackberry jam, cassis, and mocha with subtler notes of sandalwood and vanilla. Cherry and spicy are more concentrated on the palate which combine with velvety tannins and subtle notes of leather over a long finish. Pairs well with grilled and roasted meats, duck, and dark chocolate.
