This Herzog Special Edition Cabernet Sauvignon was produced from the grapes grown in the Rutherford District of Napa Valley; where the vines grow deep into well drained sandy loams peppered with volcanic deposits, or Rutherford Dust. Firm and rich on the palette with notes of black currant and cherry preserves,giving way to hints of caramel and cocoa powder. Balanced and supple tannins provide structure and a lasting Finish. Enjoy with grilled portabella mushrooms, roast turkey or grilled steak.
