Oak Knoll is in the heart of the Napa Valley, and a single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from this legendary winegrowing district is not easy to come by. We are proud to make available a small amount of Herzog Oak Knoll Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, for wine drinkers who want the very best in California red wine. If you have a decanter, this is a wine you will want to use it on. With an enrapturing inky color, it presents aromas of plum, black cherry and cassis. The massive palate explodes with blackberry and vanilla with hints of tobacco leaf. It is at its best with a hard aged cheese such as Parmigiano-Reggiano, or served with a crown roast of lamb. Check the mirror if you have more than a small glass - your teeth may be purple!
