Introducing Elvi Herenza Rioja Gran Reserva 2010, the first-ever Kosher Gran Reserva. A blend of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Graciano, this wine is unfiltered and was harvested from manually selected grapes, then stripped and pressed at controlled temperature. The wine was aged for 2.5 years in new selected French oak barrels and then 8.5 years in the bottle. This Gran Reserva is very aromatic and very intense, with wonderful fruit, leather, delicate minerality and hitting all the notes of a truly spectacular wine. Medium to full-bodied, it’s got elegant and polished tannins with medium-high, pleasant acidity, with a long and seductive finish. Overall, this wine screams pure elegance and boasts an outstanding bouquet. No need to decant upon opening, just pop and pour and get ready for the perfect taste at the very first sip.
