Winemaker's Notes
While originating from upper Bordeaux, Malbec is better known in South America. Our Malbec is rich in minerals found on the gentle first slopes of the soil of Israel's Judea Hills. Rich in complex tannins, black plum and sour cherry flavors, the wine is spicy and an ideal companion to roasted meats and barbeque. Picked at full ripeness, the Malbec grapes impart generous blueberry and violet notes. Produced from grapes grown in our own vineyards near Rehovot, the wine is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, and released after a year of lying in bottles in a controlled environment.
