Winemaker's Notes

This Bordeaux blend is a great quality to price ratio wine, with its rich mouth feel and fruity aromas. The wine's beautiful ruby red color is complemented by a wild berry nose with hints of vanilla oak. The taste profile is balanced between fruit and oak, and has nice acidity that should allow the wine to hold for years from the bottling date. The wine also has gritty tannins that should taper off with proper aging into a more rounded palate. Flavors of red cherry and red cassis are on the forefront of each sip, with more woody flavors being revealed on a mouthwatering finish. This wine pairs perfectly with grilled meats and even poultry dishes or hard cheeses.
