Winemaker's Notes
This wine is a perfect example of an aged Bordeaux. Aromas of dried cranberry and sour cherry show around the edges while the tertiary notes from extended cellar aging are at the forefront. The nose is savory and rich with notes of cedar and charcuterie, leading to a full bodied palate with fine tannins, smoked meats and dried fruit compote. This wine needs to be decanted for at least 4 hours, you can also open the bottle and recork 1-2 days in advance of drinking. Enjoy this wine over a few days to apprecia
