A classic Bordeaux blend (70% Merlot 30% Cabernet Sauvignon) from an outstanding vintage, Chateau Bellerives Dubois is a legendary style of wine at an affordable price. Best of all, you don't have to cellar it for ten years before it's ready to drink. Its soft, accessible flavors of blackberry, plum and tobacco are already showing their full potential. This is not an oaky wine - instead, the focus is on the natural fruit flavors of the grape. If possible, open it an hour before serving alongside rib-eye steaks, chicken fricassee, or grilled eggplant.
