Comprised of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot, Château Peyrat-Fourthon Haut-Médoc 2015 is a refined left-bank Bordeaux crafted with the utmost professionalism and quality. The wine was vinified in stainless steel tanks then aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, giving the wine its elegance and complexity with aromas and flavors of juicy blackberry, black cherry, and notes of licorice and spice in the back seat. This is an excellent choice for those seeking a sophisticated Bordeaux blend that will pair wonderfully with meat-based dishes or aged cheeses.
