Earthy and delightful, Binyamina Yogev Cabernet-Merlot is a refreshing change of pace from overwrought fruit bomb reds. Which is not to say this lacks for rich fruit, as you'll see when you experience the pure and juicy notes of prune and wild berry preserves. But distinct aromas of violets and espresso bean as well as hints of licorice and bell pepper on the finish will keep you guessing and coming back for more. Try with pasta Bolognese or rich hard cheeses such as Pecorino Romano or Manchego.
