This Special Reserve Chardonnay is a four-year-old Israeli Chardonnay with a rich golden color. It has a mature bouquet of dried pineapple and apricot. It's taste is reminiscent of lemon and goosberries and is consistently acidic from the mid palate through the finish that is smooth and round.

The Barkan winery is a staple in Israeli winemaking as it has been making wine for over 25 years. Barkan now is one of the largest wineries in Israel producing over 1 million bottles per year across all their wines. The current winery was built in 2000 and with it was built a massive visitor center that rests a half hour from both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The winery itself is filled with the most up to date technology and advances in the wine industry as the winery is home to all the laboratories, visitor center, production site, marketing center, and logistics center. Products are packed with coolant during their journey to ensure they arrive in great shape. Meats will arrive frozen or refrigerated.
